Welcome to our apiary-a life that is all about bees.

At Carey Apiary, we are committed to supporting healthy pollinators, protecting our local ecosystem, and providing high-quality, all-natural raw honey to our community. Over the years, we have restored and enriched our land in southern Delaware with pollinator-friendly plants, creating a thriving habitat for bees and native species.

We proudly specialize in eco-friendly live bee removals. Whether you're dealing with honey bees or yellow jackets, we offer safe, responsible solutions.

  • Honey bee colonies are never exterminated—they are carefully removed and rehomed on our farm where they can continue to thrive.

  • For non-honeybee stinging insects, we offer safe removal when feasible, and referrals when removal is not possible.

  • Through our partnership with HollisterStier Allergy — a 100-year leader in venom allergy research — some removals contribute to venom extraction for life-saving treatments.

  • As a certified Master Beekeeper through the University of Florida, I take pride in educating and mentoring new beekeepers. Our farm provides a warm, welcoming environment where visitors can enjoy fresh produce, raw honey, and other bee products.

We also offer guided apiary tours, see how a working apiary operates and even suit up to meet the bees firsthand. Tours are available for individuals, families, and groups seeking an immersive educational experience.
