Our Services

  • At Carey Apiary, we specialize in safe, eco-friendly bee and insect removal.

    Honey Bee Swarm Relocation
Honey bee colonies naturally reproduce through a process called swarming—when a hive becomes too large, part of the colony leaves to start a new home. If you notice a swarm on or near your property, call us to safely catch and relocate the bees.

    Honey Bee Cut-Outs
We also perform hive removals from structures or homes, relocating the bees while preserving their colony. Please note that repair work to the property is not included. Homeowners may need a contractor for repairs and sealing after removal.

    Non-Honey Bee Removals
We safely remove other stinging insects for purposes such as venom extraction to support allergy research and treatment. We provide live removals only and do not apply pesticides as part of these services.

    • Pricing:

      • Honey bee cut-outs & swarm relocation: 3-hour minimum $400 | $100 per additional hour

      • Non-honey bee removals: Starting at $225

Honey bees are nature’s master pollinators. Using a technique called constancy, they consistently visit the same types of plants, naturally enhancing and beautifying any property they work.

With our hive rental program, you can harness the power of these incredible insects from May through September. We provide full-sized hives and handle all the maintenance, ensuring your bees thrive while you enjoy a flourishing landscape.

At the end of the season, we carefully remove the hives and offer you the honey produced on your property at a reduced rate—perfect for personal enjoyment or resale.

  • Support the bees. Enjoy the harvest. No HOA required.

Not everyone can keep honey bees at home — and that’s okay.
Our Bee Colony Sponsorship Program allows individuals and businesses to support a dedicated honey bee colony hosted and cared for at Carey Apiary, while enjoying a meaningful connection to the bees and the farm.

Whether you’re restricted by an HOA, short on space, or simply want to support local agriculture, sponsoring a hive is a unique way to make an impact without the responsibility of managing bees yourself.

    How It Works

    When you sponsor a colony:

    • Your hive is hosted on our farm and fully managed by a professional beekeeper

    • You receive updates throughout the season

    • Depending on your tier, you’ll enjoy a share of the honey harvest, farm visits, and recognition

    • Your sponsorship directly supports sustainable beekeeping and local pollination

All colonies remain on the property and responsibility of Carey Apiary — you get the benefits without the risk.
